The presence of the dead

I was walking down a very busy street in Leichhardt, called Norton Street with my three daughters. When we were passing a funeral parlour, the doors to the garage opened and a hearse came out of the driveway blocking our access on the footpath. Everybody was quiet and I am sure saying silent prayers as there was a coffin inside that was arranged with beautiful flowers and ribbons. The hearse could not enter the street as the traffic was very busy so more and more people were standing there silently looking at this hearse when all of a sudden my 4 year old daughter says at the top of her lungs while pointing at the coffin "Look mummy somebody's getting a huge present". Well we all started laughing out loud much to the horrified look of the driver.
